SmartConfig Configuration Tool SmartConfig Configuration tool user guide for the iOS version of the tool Introduction SmartConfig Tool allows wireless connection to the xCR0, xCR10, xCR80, xVR2 series controllers and xER1 and CDR smart sensors. The tool can also be used for the configuration of the xDR20 room interfaces. Tool connects using your mobile phones Bluetooth connection to the device. The device needs to have either BLE Device dongle plugged in, or it needs to have built-in Bluetooth option fitted. The tool has two operating modes: xPress and Nordic UART. Configuration Menus Configuration Menus are used for changing the settings on the controller/sensor.  Depending on the Preferences, either all points on the selected group e.g "Display Settings" are shown, or "Display Settings" shows sub-menus, and by selecting the sub-menu, the settings from the sub-menu are displayed. These screens have three buttons on the top of the screen:- "Reset Device"; soft starts the device (the setting changes are not stored) "Apply Changes"; stores the settings in the non-volatile memory of the device and resets the device. Note: this may disconnect bluetooth, if this happens press "Connect" to re-connect to the device "Refresh Data"; the submenus load automatically the latest values from the device (once). By pressing "refresh data" the values are refreshed from the device.  To back-up the device data to the phone/tablet, return to the Main Menu level and select Backup/Restore from the Top Right menu. Live View Live View shows the live view data from the devices e.g. current measurements, output levels, demand signals and calculated setpoints. The Standard View shows all the values from the Live View menu (json). The Custom View allows the required points to be selected for the view. This is useful ehn e.g. a subset of parameters are required to be analysed (the view only polls the selected points).
